For the last 6 weeks Community Thrift & Vintage and The Frock Shoppe collected cash donations from our splendid patrons as part of a Blanket Drive. In support of our efforts, our vintage supplier generously contributed a 100 pounds of comforters at no charge. This week we delivered them to the PHS Lifeskills Centre for distribution. The Lifeskills Centre is a resource centre providing employment training, support groups, hot lunches and special events to the DTES community. The remaining funds will purchase the much needed new warm socks for the Lifeskills Centre to give out.
This great success couldn’t have happened at a better time with the nasty turn of weather that makes life that much harder for the people that rely on support centres such as Lifeskills. We sincerely thank everyone that contributed..

Our New Frock Shoppe is open for business tomorrow 11am! 311 Carrall Street ( between Hastings & Cordova ). So many pretty things in time for the holidays!
Our founding store at 41 West Cordova has been flipped into an amazing vintage den for men.
Prices and selection are still unbeatable. It’s a win win!!!

Week one of our prep on our addition to Community Thrift and Vintage (subtitled- The Frock Shoppe). From the windows you might think we are opening a thrift furniture store, but everything that’s been acquired has a place in the plans for Jeff & Jenni & Marla.
